Twinning Meaning
Twinning is, letās say, a synchronization between two people who, metaphorically speaking, breathe in the same rhythm, understand each other without words, and live in harmony without any pressure. It may sound funny, since there are two of you and there is always something to talk about, watch videos, cook and eat together, do silly things, and never get bored. Such people are often emotionally stable and handle problems better because they donāt feel alone. To be clear from the start, Iām talking about biological twins who were lucky enough to grow up together and werenāt forced apart by their parents. Those twins had the chance to experience real twinning - but correct me if Iām wrong, and if you have an example please share it with us.
I personally see twinning as something that can be shared, something that can affect and inspire the world around us. Of course, not everyone believes that thereās kind of energy which can be felt or shown - they always want proof or some rational explanation. Well, thatās like asking someone to explain love, anxiety or any other abstract concept whose essence we all instinctively understand. Iād like to share interesting experience of mine, the results of which revealed themselves this summer in one of my favorite places ā our blackberry plantation! :)
Twinning Stories: Our first steps on the family plantation
It all began 3 years ago when my sister and I went to work a seasonal job on large blackberry plantations. No one forced us to go - we simply wanted to try a new thing and earn a bit of money. It was extremely hot period and the blazing sun made everything harder ā to breathe, to move, to see⦠It burned our skin while our whole bodies were sweating. There were plenty of bees, spiders, and other insects that weāre not really afraid of, but honestly, weād rather not look at them if we donāt have to... To be honest, it was tough, and the pay was low, so there wasnāt much motivation to keep going after two weeks (the season usually lasts about six). But we did learn a few things along the way.
The following February, we talked with our dad about the possibility of starting a āfamily plantationā that we would maintain ourselves, without extra workers ā just family members. He had always wanted something like that, but he was never supported by our mum, who tends to be cautious about new things, changes, and challenges. I donāt know why he had never mentioned it to us before. Perhaps he didnāt want to be disappointed again, or maybe he thought we wouldnāt do enough, so he would end up doing most of the work himself. We said - this is our initiation, we must give our maximum!

Aaaand, so we did! My sister and I didnāt know anything about growing a plantation or where to find the ātechnical stuffā (wires, seedlings, wooden poles, irrigation hoses...), but fortunately, dad did - he knew many people in many villages. He didnāt have much time to take care of most of the soil preparations, clearing the space, and other tasks that must be done at the very beginning. But I must emphasize that all three of us are responsible for the good results we see on the plantation today. Since dad was mostly at work, my sister and I have done (and will keep doing) all the preparing and maintaining, which includes: mowing the grass, hoeing, pruning, tying, supplementing, picking, and fixing small issues like crooked hot parts on old lawnmowers, cut hosesā¦
I mentioned a lot of things here in a rather general way. None of this work was done in a single day, except for mowing the grass. Most days were extremely hot (around 36°C), and that was the biggest challenge ā the sun burned our skin, sweat streamed through every pore and dripped into our eyes, and the dry air made it hard to breathe. Ankles, legs, arms, and back could hurt terribly, depending on the type of work, after a whole day of labor. The two of us left so much sweat, blood, and hidden tears on that ground to create a fruitful, successful blackberry plantation that meets our standards, expectations and work ethic.
Sorry for waiting, hereās an answer!
Maybe it sounds as if weāre not satisfied or as if weāre struggling, but believe me ā itās not like that. I just wanted to share more about the beginnings so the following text can make sense. Honestly, we really enjoy doing all these things and pushing our limits. I would love to describe more about how everything functions, looks, and feels, but thatās not the current topic.
We gave our hearts to that place, and the beautiful plant gave us a sign of awareness in return. Iāll be direct ā there were MANY, MANY DOUBLE BERRIES! I hope you know what I mean, like two blackberries fused together. There are 16 rows, and in every single one of them, there were plenty. Everyone was amazed and surprised (just to remind you, my sister and I werenāt working there alone - itās a family thing - but we do take a lot of credit). After asking other growers, we found out that this wasnāt happening on their plantations.
Having a plant that may be aware of its nurturers is an honor, and weāre proud to know that we have a positive influence on our surroundings. We feel an energy that makes us feel understood, uplifted, rewarded ā as if our berries recognize our presence. Humming to a living being that cannot speak but can show, gently touching its soft leaves while picking tiny baby berries in the middle of nature ā it feels like a dream job. Imagine discovering a small twig in the dust, and later tying up strong, thick green canes. How happy would you be to witness even a plant showing its gratitude for being nurtured and helped to grow?
Final words...
I hope you understand the point of this story and this topic. This is my way of showing that twinning, twin energy, or the twin bond (whatever you choose to call it) truly exists ā and that even abstract things can be described through simple experiences. Iām not trying to convince anyone of spirituality; I only want to show that there are real signs of how positivity spreads, and how naturally we feel uplifted when someone close is near.
My sister and I often receive compliments from complete strangers, and a simple small talk usually ends with them thanking us and wishing us all the best. I repeat, TOTAL STRANGERS. Itās an amazing feeling, one I wish more people could experience. Itās like you helped someone just by⦠existing. Itās hard to explain, which is why I simply believe thereās something in the atmosphere. Letās call it energy, just to make it easier to understand.
So we decided to share it, hoping we can succeed in spreading our emotional regenerative philosophyĀ throughĀ empathy and togetherness.Ā
Sending lots of love!
